Meet Justine Corrijn, our new colleague. From April 1, Justine will be taking care of both our communication and production activities, together with Yifan Yaing. This talent on design and research just started at ACED.
Justine Corrijn is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher working on both self-initiated projects and commissioned work. Inspired by historical stories that aren’t represented in traditional western media, or have long been forgotten, she creates new narratives by diving into written sources and visual archives. With her strong interest in archival materials and cartography, her work lays on the intersection of design and journalism. Justine uses design as a critical tool for addressing contemporary social and geopolitical challenges.
In 2021 Justine graduated at the master's program Non Linear Narrative at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK), where she found her passion for design and journalism. This is also why she is eager to engage further with design and journalism within ACED's network.
